Hello! I’m Kelly.

Let me share my Journey to Motherhood..

I had my daughter almost 18 months ago. It was only about 5 months ago that I finally started feeling myself again. Despite having a background in nutrition, I continued to be surprised and shocked by the changes that pregnancy brought to my mental, emotional, and physical state.

Even more so in the postpartum period.

I was exhausted, dizzy, losing my hair, my skin was breaking out, all the while laying awake at night anxiously worrying about my new baby. A postpartum blood test confirmed significant nutrient depletion, so if this could happen to me, I can only imagine what many other women are also experiencing.

We always focus on the health of our babies but vary rarely on the health of ourselves.

After this experience, I chose to quit my corporate marketing job and found my passion – empowering and supporting women with the knowledge to nourish themselves and their babies, so they can spend less time worrying about their health, feel energised and spend more time enjoying the moments that matter.

I am now pregnant with my second child, so right in the thick of it with you!

Food literally gives us life, it is so influential in shaping how we feel, how we behave and how our health takes shape years into the future. My approach to nutrition is food first, practical, and realistic. It needs to make your life easier, not more complicated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Science (Nutrition) – University of Wollongong
  • Master Certification (Pregnancy, Postpartum, Babies) – Oh Baby Academy
  • Member of the Nutrition Society of Australia
  • Currently studying a Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition – Monash University
